I want to remember that life doesn’t have to be rushed to be beautiful.
Am I the only one learning to let the days unfold without always reaching for what’s next?
So much of motherhood is wonderfully ordinary—bare feet, wet swimsuits, snacks in the car,
Lost hair ties and muddy towels and someone asking for one more minute in the water.
Without realizing it, those little things have become some of my favorite parts.
You girls have taught me that there is so much beauty in slowing down enough to notice.
I don’t know if I could ever see life the same way now.
Hope is sometimes just watching you laugh in the summer sun and realizing I am still here.
You’re growing up right in front of me, and I wish I could bottle every ordinary, beautiful second.
Happy is not something waiting for us somewhere in the future. It’s here. Right here.
