Did you know that the first day of summer was June 21st? If you live in the south, I am sure that you find this is comical because it has been 100 degrees (or felt like it) since April.
So this was *technically* my first session of the summer. and, although the wind was whipping and the waves were crashing loudly, I could hear this fun family before I could see them. They laughed and played as they came over the dune, all in white and they didn’t stop laughing the entire session.
I loved that these four adult children, and their significant others, were all vacationing together and were truly having a blast. Someone was always cracking a joke or making bunny ears. When they all picked up their Dad, I had tears from laughing so hard. This was the first day of their vacation and, if their week was filled with half as many smiles and laughs, I’d say that they had a pretty good time here on Oak island. It is the perfect place to spend the hot summer, surrounded by family and those you love.
