Sweet November–the calm before the Christmas storm. The cool dry air and the desolate beach made for a sunset even more beautiful than usual, if that is even possible.
During this November family session, the birds welcomed us to the beach like long lost friends. Victoria and her beautiful family laughed and chased each other in their favorite place on the chilly Oak Island beach. As the pink sun reflected in the calm ocean water, they were reminded that almost another year had passed, how much they love each other, and how that love continues to grow. To be able to capture their love in their happy place was truly an honor.
November really is the ideal time to visit Oak Island. The Island is peaceful and quiet, the Summer rush is long over, and the locals go about their day in a quiet calm. It is the perfect time to document your family as the year comes to a close and new adventures begin!
