Christmas Mini Session, Carolina Forest Myrtle Beach

Can you believe that it is 2019? I certainly cannot. When I was in college or working in the library I always knew the date. As a stay at home mom with my own business, I hardly ever write or even know the date. I don’t think it even fully registered to me that it was 2018, but I guess I missed my chance!

Being a parent makes the time fly even faster. I have only been a mom for a year and half , or 20 months in mom language, but it feels like the blink of an eye. Some days and weeks can feel like an eternity especially when the little one is teething, or sick, or hitting the terrible twos early (pray for me!!). But, when you add all of those days up it just doesn’t seem real that they calculate to 20 months. It doesn’t even feel real to me that I have a child- I still feel like a child, myself!

This is why this group of minis was my favorite. The location took me back to when I was a young child, and playing in the woods with my brother, surrounded by trees with nobody around. Myrtle beach is such a fun place- gorgeous beaches, mini golf courses, restaurants, and nightlife. But the Lewis Ocean Bays Heritage Preserve has a little something different to offer- quiet, calm, full of nature. Seeing all of the families and their little ones run through the trees, play with pine cones and sticks and really enjoy being in the peace and quiet of nature was really special.

I hope you all have a wonderful 2019  filled with peace, joy and love.
