When I first laid eyes on Jessica she was all done up in her bridal suite. She was absolutely breathtaking. So breathtaking that Christian couldn’t help but get choked up when he saw her coming down the aisle of white sand. The ceremony was beautifully ordained by Christian’s brother with a lovely reading from Jess’s Mom, followed by the most romantic first kiss ever!
The day was filled with laughter, happy tears, hugs and smiles and served as a reminder that life is filled with so much love and beauty. Plans may change, global pandemics may happen, but when you have love in your heart and those you love most surrounding you, nothing else matters.
On the beach as the sun was setting, Jess shared with me that she spent the day baking her wedding cake with her family and that her Mom did her hair. Christian’s brother got ordained the night before so that he could officiate the wedding. They had a massive beach house with their closest family present. These personal, intimate touches go beyond a wedding color, theme, venue, or flowers. These are the things that are most important in a wedding and a marriage. When times get tough or things don’t go as planned, we can always count on love and family to get through those times.
Christian and Jess, thank you for allowing me to be part of your family for the day. It was truly an honor, and I am so excited for you to see a few of my many favorites!
