While I was driving to this proposal, I have to admit I got a bit emotional. An engagement is such a special moment in time in the lives of two people—a promise to commit to loving one person for the rest of your life. I was grateful to be a part of it.
It began to rain while I was waiting for the future bride and groom, which quickly turned into a down pour! This didn’t put a damper on the proposal whatsoever. Despite the change in weather, Nick took cover under the Oak Island Pier, which was movie-like and a beautiful backdrop for the occasion and both families were there to witness Hannah saying yes to Nick!
The following day, I met up with this beautiful couple to take more photos when they weren’t drenched from the rain. Throughout the photo session, I was able to get to know them and, let me tell you, Hannah and Nik are as sweet in real life as they are in the photos. It was so apparent how much in love they are with each other, how comfortable they are together—one would think that they have been together forever! I felt their souls are truly one, and that they are meant to be together forever.
Oh, and HOW CUTE is their adorable new puppy?
I wish Hannah and Nick all the happiness and love in the world. Their future is SO bright and I am honored that I was a part of this special day in their lives.
