Having the opportunity to photograph Alicia and Jimmy’s engagement was very special to me because Alicia is a dear friend of mine from college. I was fortunate enough to spend a few days with them and I was reminded, again, of the special bond that they have. At one point Jimmy was trying to remember something and was deeply staring at Alicia. She said, “I have no idea what you are talking about” to which he replied, “I know, but looking at you helps me focus.” They are truly partners and bring each other clarity, reassurance and peace. Individually they are great people, but together they are superheros.
We took on pouring rain, biting ants and pesky mosquitos for these pictures, but nothing could take away Alicia’s giggle when Jimmy kissed her! I can’t wait to see these two get married and grow adorably old together.
