She knew that they had a family photo session planned, and they were going first. Just a few couple shots before the family group would join them.
She was stunning. Her sun kissed skin contrasted perfectly with her flowing blonde hair and beautiful white dress.
He was cool and calm, with his hand glued in his pocket. I knew that it was grasping the ring- their symbol of forever- that she had no idea was coming. I could tell that he was ready.
He wanted somewhere peaceful and private where he could ask her for forever.
He told her things that only she knows. She smiled and grabbed his hands. He got down on one knee. She threw her head back in disbelief, filled with emotion.
She sobbed yes!
He slipped the gorgeous ring on her finger. She stood up and they embraced- the most romantic hug and kiss ever!
I stood by snapping photos of every second. Her tears, his beaming smile, their pure excitement. Their first moments as the future Mr. & Mrs. Randolph.
The ring wasn’t the last of the surprises for the evening! As Daphne entered the beach, waiting by the dune, was her entire family there to surprise her. They were there to celebrate these once-in-a-lifetime memories and she had no idea!
Later in the evening I got to hear about their plans for their future- and that Jalen had been coming to Oak Island 25 years. This proposal adds to their amazing memories here.
